I'm so lucky to have this Horse! Toyin WithA Cat "Cat"
has done just about everything from cutting, cowhorse, ranch
horse classes, and trail riding. He is amazing and he's my
best horse friend ever! Picture from the June Northern Arizona

Arizona is full of amazing rope horses and ole "Moon"
fits right in with the best. He's been winning checks and looking
good. Head, Heel or Breakaway rope - He's a steady and solid
partner. I love his fun personality, big heart and big motor.
Outside the arena he makes himself useful as a trail horse and
a ranch horse.

Janis Gibbard and her beautiful APHA gelding Classy
Casanova, aka “Bandit” continue to gather blue
ribbons! They recently entered ranch riding for the first
time, and they took the blue! Janis purchased Bandit from
us three years ago. Since then they have competed successfully
in speed events, mountain trail classes, halter classes and
ranch horse classes. Congratulations Team Bandit! We love
hearing from you and seeing your success.

Toyin With A Cat 2015 AQHA Gelding
Pretty, athletic, super smart and a winner! It’s fun
to own this gelding and he’s been my ride to a whole
new world of Ranch Versatility and Cutting competitions. He’s
the star of the 2022 summer having already won high point
novice horse at three Arizona Versatility Ranch Horse Shows
and placed in a couple of NACHA beginner cuttings. He’s
even a steady and safe trail horse on the steep rocky trails
in Arizona. His giant personality makes everything fun!
Haze Woodland and Graffiti roping this summer.
Kylee Branch and Sunny competing at the Green Mile,
Pendelton, Oregon .
Our
horses and their owners are so amazing. Here are a few pictures
from the 4th of July activities in 2021. It is so nice to
see everyone out at events and hitting the trails again.
Jennifer Tinder
and her versatile gelding Lucky Luke serve on a mounted
posse in California and work many community and military
events.
Owned by Jannis
Gibbard, Gig Harbour Washington enjoying the 4th in
his cute hometown.
Gypo is probably
the hardest working and most dependable horse going.
He and Lori Lennox spend most holidays in the back country
clearing and building trails for the rest of us to enjoy.
2021-Charly
Nelson and Zoey (purchased this spring) are busy getting ready
for the southern Idaho playdays and junior rodeos. We think
Charley and her sister Afton are probably the cutest and smartest
kids we have ever met. Good luck girls and thanks for the picture
of Zoey!
Janis
Gibbard and Classy Casonova, aka Bandit are competing in all
kinds of events from team penning to trail challenges. Janis
loves Bandit and he sure loves her. He's the little horse that
could and he still can! Go team Bandit!
Congratulations
Brady Walker and Sittin Sideways, Reserve Champion NSBA Western
Pleasure Futurity. JayZ has continued his winning ways under
saddle and we are excited for this team's future!
I
love our Billings Horse Sale customers! Jeff Strowbridge from
Minnesota purchased this gelding at the BLS July Sale.Jeff
says he's a good horse on both ends roping, double tough outside,
and rides good in town for the ladies and IN THE BAR! That's
not a first for a BLS buyer. Once there was a bulldoggin inside
a bar in Dillion - not naming names. It's good to know the
younger guys are still as crazy as the old ones. Bill Parker
would have got a kick out of this. I hope he's looking down
laughing. Good luck Jeff and Ole Dunn and keep that Montana
tradition going in Minnesota!
"Ya he’s rode like a million bucks we were in medora
riding for 4 days rode to town everyday nothing bothered him
I even rode him on the deck at the bar had 3 guys try to buy
him and 4 women rode him around the town" . OMG!
Bandit
made a great showing in the ranch horse classes at the Copper
Country Paint O Rama in Scottsdale last month. He sells February

Sittin Sideways, APHA World Champion Amateur and Open Lunge
Line Yearling! “Jay Zee” came to live with us when
he was 6 months old and stayed until he started training with
Atwood Show Horses in June, 2019. He has grown in to a beautiful,
kind and talented World Champion Yearling. This was his very
first show! I am so proud to have been a small part of his success
and I’m looking forward to seeing him under saddle next
year. Congratulations to my great friend and mentor Kade Atwood
for seeing his potential and trusting me with his care. Congratulations
also to Brady Walker and Jeffery Gibbs who showed JayZee so
well!

We are SO PROUD AND HAPPY for Halle Morley and her great
mare Ellie. They won the year end all around for the Crouch
Junior Rodeo Series plus some playday averages and pole pending
checks this summer. We are also proud EXTREMELY PROUD of Payton
Beckley and her amazing gelding Pep. They finished fifth for
the year end at CJRS, won many pee wee barrel races this summer,
and placed in some tough competition at a variety of other
events.
July 2019
Congratulations to Hallie Morley and her multi-talented mare
Ellie. They won the pole bending and relay race and the all
around Junior division at the Crouch, Idaho Rodeo on July
13th. Hallie's family purchased Ellie from us last summer.
This team has made amazing progress and they are starting
to find the speed! Hallie also place 4th in pole bending against
21 runners at the Gem State Rodeo in Caldwell recently. Turn
up the sound on the video to hear proud parents and grandparents!
Hallie and I spent some frustrating and long hours in the
practice pen getting Ellie used to running flag races. Ellie
loves barrels and poles but she did not like flags on bit!
I'm super proud of their flag run and second place finish
in the flag race! Great riding Hallie!

Just
an update. Tank and Austin won the Oregon High School State SW Championship.
Drew the runner at nationals in the first round and threw him well
for a 9.5. Needed to be a 5.25 on the second one to make the short
go and was a 5.04 and thought he got out but broke. So Tank and
Austin are off to Douglas, AZ on a FULL ride scholarship. What a
blessing Tank has been. The accolades just keep rolling in. I put
several kids on him in high school rodeo and they all did well.
I was hit up several time by guys that wanted to travel and ride
him this year. He does not look that fast because he is so big and
strong is the deal. But he is a proven winner anywhere in the arena
and on any steer.
Tank
and Austin have brought me so much pride and happiness already over
the years!
Thank
you again for the pleasure of working with us.
John, Ronna, and Austin
Here
is a the second go at State and the short go on YouTube.
When Chip was in high school I scraped up the money to buy him a
good horse that we couldn't afford and it was the best investment
I ever made. Chip was able to get college scholarships and that
paid many times over for the price of the horse. I'm so glad that
we were able to sell Tank to you and that he has done so well with
him. Austin is talented and smart and that is the key to his success
but it helps to be mounted. Tell them good luck in AZ. I'm planning
to go to Wickenburg AZ for 2 weeks this winter. I have a new barrel
horse and I'm enjoying the 4-D races and winning a little money.
I'll let you know when I go and maybe I'll see them down there.
Thanks again.
